    What experience do I need to own a franchise with Beyond the Label?

    If you are a properly licensed BCBA, or manager, director, or investor who is partnered with a licensed Behavior Analyst, then you may be our next Beyond the Label franchise owner. (Please refer to the BACB website for more information about licensure requirements by state: https://www.bacb.com/u-s-licensure-of-behavior-analysts/) We are looking for financially qualified, established businesspeople and behavioral development professionals who are excited to take their career to the level of franchise ownership.     What is provided as part of the Beyond the Label franchise program?

    We will invite you and your team to Ohio for comprehensive training at our corporate offices for you and up to three members of your staff. Here you can expect time in the classroom learning how to manage your new business, as well as time out in the field working with patients. You will also have access to our confidential operations manual from the moment you are awarded a franchise with Beyond the Label.

    How much will the franchise cost me?

    The estimated initial investment necessary to begin operations ranges from $63,824 – $94,199. This includes a $37,500 initial franchise fee for a single territory agreement. As with any new venture, it’s important to have adequate capital to fund the initial business growth stages.

    Is financing available?

    We do not provide direct or indirect financing to franchise owners.

    Are there ongoing fees to pay?

    We collect a royalty fee equal to 8% of gross revenues, among other fees. Fees allow us to fund our ongoing support services and the continued development of techniques and procedures, marketing tools, training programs, and systems upgrades.     Are there any advertising fees?

    Franchise owners will contribute 1% of gross revenues (this can increase to up to 2%) into the Brand Marketing Fund. Collected funds will be used to develop marketing strategies to promote the Beyond the Label brand and cover the creative costs to develop brand marketing materials and campaigns.

    Franchise owners are expected to spend a minimum of 1% of gross revenues per month on ongoing local marketing. Within 90 days of commencing operations, they must also spend between $1,500 and $5,000 on the Grand Opening Marketing Program, which includes local advertising, promotion, and other approved marketing activities in connection with the grand opening.

    What is the term of the agreement?

    The initial term of your agreement is five years, with two successor agreement options of five years.
